Shaping Tomorrow's Leaders
At TVS Knowledge Centre, we are committed to developing a future-ready workforce through industry-aligned learning, continuous skill development, and innovative training methodologies.
Our experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) work closely with leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA), identify competency gaps, and design role-based learning programmes. Training content and delivery methods are continuously updated to keep pace with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
Every year, an organization-wide learning calendar is developed to align training with business goals, covering technical, functional, and behavioural competencies. All employees complete a minimum of three man-days of training annually, while every new employee participates in the IMPACT (Induction Module for Professionals Across TVS) onboarding programme.
Blended Learning Approach
Our programmes are delivered through multiple learning channels to ensure maximum reach and effectiveness:
- Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT)
- Self-paced learning through the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Hands-on classroom and Gemba training delivered by certified trainers
Building Skills at Scale
TVS Knowledge Centre manages and enhances the competency framework of a workforce of more than 3,500 employees through structured learning, OEM-certified programmes, and on-the-job coaching.
Each year, we deliver:
- 12,000+ training man-days
- 70% of employees certified through role-based skill development programmes
- Continuous capability enhancement through internal experts and empanelled external training partners
Strengthening the Talent Pipeline
To bridge the gap between education and industry, TVS Knowledge Centre collaborates with academic institutions to offer automobile familiarization and entry-level skill development programmes, preparing students for successful careers in the automotive sector.
Recognizing the growing demand for skilled professionals, we launched Koushala Vriddhi and Sankalp—our flagship talent development initiatives for critical roles across dealership operations, distribution, and mobility businesses. These programmes currently support nearly 50% of our talent pipeline, with a vision to expand this to 70% through technology-enabled learning.
Flagship Programmes
Our entry-level development programmes are designed to create industry-ready professionals:
- TOP (Technician Orientation Programme) – A comprehensive programme for entry-level technicians.
- STAR (Sales Training Academy for Recruits) – A structured programme for aspiring sales consultants.
Both programmes run for two months and conclude with competency assessment and certification.
Driving Excellence Through Skills
TVS Knowledge Centre is recognized by leading OEMs to independently deliver and certify these programmes. Our sustained focus on learning and capability development has established us as a benchmark in automotive skill development, with our teams consistently earning top honours at prestigious national skill competitions conducted by OEMs.
Recognised Excellence in Skill Development
TVS Knowledge Centre is a premier automotive training institution committed to developing industry-ready professionals through world-class skill development programmes and nationally recognized certifications.
As an approved training partner of the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) under the aegis of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), the centre delivers industry-relevant training through the TOP and STAR programmes, equipping learners with practical skills that meet evolving industry standards.
TVS Knowledge Centre is also the first industry-led academy to be accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as a Skill Knowledge Provider (SKP) under the erstwhile National Vocational Education Qualification Framework (NVEQF), now integrated into the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). This continued accreditation enables the centre to collaborate with academic institutions to deliver specialized automotive service training aligned with national skill standards.
Further strengthening its commitment to workforce development, TVS Knowledge Centre is approved by the Directorate of Apprenticeship Training to conduct programmes under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS). These programmes are equivalent to the ITI Craftsman curriculum under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and are offered in the trades of Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), Tinker, and Painter.
With strong industry partnerships, government-recognised accreditations, and a focus on hands-on learning, TVS Knowledge Centre continues to empower individuals with the technical expertise and practical experience required for successful careers in the automotive industry.

By enhancing just-in-time learning for critical service areas such as roadside assistance and after-sales support, we will ensure our workforce is equipped to respond with speed, confidence, and excellence.
Innovation will remain at the heart of our learning strategy. Through stronger collaborations with OEMs, academic institutions, and industry partners, we will continue to develop future-focused programmes that address emerging technologies, evolving customer expectations, and the skills required for tomorrow’s mobility landscape.
As we look ahead, our mission remains clear—to develop exceptional talent, drive service excellence, and set new benchmarks in automotive skill development. By investing in people today, TVS Knowledge Centre is building the workforce that will power the future of mobility.
